Don Lemon just dropped a bombshell. During his time at CNN, female colleagues allegedly crossed the line—one even "tweaked" his nipples in the Atlanta cafeteria. Speaking on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, the former anchor opened up about workplace harassment in a way rarely heard from men in media.

“This woman, a young lady, tweaked my nipples and said, ‘Oh, it’s cold in here.’ And I said, ‘OK. You realize if I did that, they’d be walking me out the door right now,” Lemon said on the Sunday episode.

Despite recognizing the inappropriateness, he admitted never reporting it: “I didn’t care. I didn’t go to HR. I just thought it was a double standard.”

Maher, known for unfiltered takes, responded with wit.

“I wish I had been harassed this much, quite honestly,” Maher joked. “I think it’s flattering as long as you can fend them off easily.”

Lemon also shared a second encounter, where a female colleague allegedly aggressively pursued him at a cocktail party and pressured him to stay in a guest room. He resisted the advances, but the woman turned “so mean” toward him afterward.

“This was a while ago, and there was no Uber or anything like that. If you are in Atlanta, the taxis aren’t available,” Lemon explained.

Maher pushed for more details and asked if Lemon ended up staying over.

“I’m not saying I didn’t, but nothing happened,” Lemon responded.

“I’ve been harassed by women and men in the work. There are some things that are really egregious, but not everything is Harvey Weinstein-level,” Lemon also revealed.

Lemon’s account offered a rare look at the harassment and stigma men can face—but the internet had little sympathy. Instead of using it as a launching point for deeper discussion, social media had a field day.

“Such a weird mfer, man,” one X-user commented.

Others were even harsher, calling him a “despicable narcissist” while dismissing his grievances.

Don Lemon, a 17-year CNN veteran, left the network in April 2023 after mounting controversies. In February, he came under fire for saying Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was "not in her prime," implying a woman’s prime is in her 20s, 30s, or “maybe 40s.” The comment was widely condemned as sexist.

CNN announced his departure without citing a specific reason.
